Tollywood actress Lavanya Tripathi gave it right back to a social media troll who bought her name in the midst of a heated social media conversation pertaining to a young lady in Tamil Nadu who committed suicide as she was forced to convert from Hindu to Christianity. Incidentally, the said lady who sadly died by suicide is named Lavanya.
In this context, a social media post accidentally used the hashtag #lavanyatripathi. Reacting to the same, a Twitter user wrote "Please don't use #lavanyatripathi .
She's an actress. Lavanya was a normal dalit girl of Tamilnadu. She did supreme sacrifice for dharma, don't compare her with cheap actresses.."
Lavanya Tripathi understandably took offense to the same and she came up with a strong reply from her end.
"Why do men like you start respecting women when something horrible happens, before that they call them cheap.. Learn to respect everyone!
Extremely unfortunate incident, but this is the reality of our society." Lavanya wrote in response to the offensive troll who targeted her unnecessarily.
