Rajamouli who set the box office on fire with his magnum opus RRR brought two powerhouses together. The Rajamouli's directorial stars Young Tiger Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Mega Powerstar Ram Charan in the lead roles who essayed the roles of revolutionaries Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju respectively. DVV Entertainments bankrolled the film.

Alia Bhatt paired opposite Ram Charan and she played the role of Sita. English actress Olivia Morris is paired opposite Young Tiger NTR.

As both stars are terrific dancers, Rajamouli did not let the chance of making them dance together go. The dance number Naatu Naatu is a feast for the eye, which tells us about the perfectionism of the director. Both stars grooved in the song with perfect sync.
