In a recent development a lightman has made shocking comments on director Mani Ratnam. His comments have become a sensation in Kollywood now. He is threatening to commit suicide in front of Mani Ratnam house if he has not done justice to him.
Going into the details.. Mani Ratnam made 'Guru' starring Abhishek Bachchan.. Aishwarya. The movie was a disaster. While the shoot was on for Guru in 2006, a lightman named Manimaaran suffered with blood related infection. He said that he has been trying to get compensation for his medical expenses from then onwards. He said that he has neigther got the compensation from Lightmen association nor the Mani Ratnam film unit.
He has approached the court for the justice and he got a favourable decision.. the court asked the Lightmen association to pay him Rs. 2 lakh compensation to him. But Manimaaran is saying that he is not getting the 2 lakh amount.. and moreover they are asking for a bribe of Rs.20,000.
