Adivi Sesh's Major released in theaters on the 3rd of June and it is successfully running in theaters now. The film is doing fairly well in the Telugu stages but the trend is low in Hindi. It has collected Rs 6 crores in the Hindi belt now but the daily collections tally trend is steady, much to the delight of everyone involved. But despite the low collections trend Major is exhibiting in the Hindi belt, Adivi Sesh appears to be a happy man and here is what he has to say about the same.

"It was a strange feeling when the film was released in Hindi because that section of our audience did not know me as an actor, I was a new chap. The film was gaining momentum and by now it is a blockbuster hit in Telugu and Tamil. But for the Hindi audience, I was the underdog, somewhere trying to find a room for myself." Adivi Sesh said in his interaction with a national media portal.

"But I think the audience has given me a place in their heart. It is the fire, the passion and the inspirational story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan that is getting discovered by the audience and growing slowly. Now, theatre owners are increasing the number of shows etc. I am happy to see the celebration of the spirit of 'Major'.Well, I am not sure of being the shark but I can say that the goldfish is shining!" Sesh goes on to add.

As for the Telugu market, the theatrical rights of Major are valued at Rs 13 crores and the film has breached the same as it collected Rs 13.60 crores in 5 days. The film is on course to mint minor profits to the buyers in the twin Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
