Madras High Court directed Tamil Actor Simbu to provide security for Rs 85.50 lakh within four weeks or end up facing attachment of his household articles. Justice M Govindaraj ordered attachment of Simbhu's car and mobiles if he fails to provide security in time.

Reportedly, Simbhu was paid Rs 50 lakh advance by Passion Movie Makers for acting in a Tamil Movie 'Arasan' on June 17th, 2013. An agreement was signed for Rs 1 crore remuneration he would be receiving for the movie. The project hasn't materialized but Simbhu refused to return the advance.

Producer moved Madras High Court seeking compensation for the losses incurred to him over the dispute. Simbhu failed to prove that he suffered losses because of the Production House. So, High Court threatened to seize his assets if he doesn't return Rs 50 lakh advance along with Rs 35.50 lakh interest.
