Record-Breaking Deals For 'Maharshi'

Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie 'Maharshi' under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. The producers have finally started the pre-release business of the movie and the numbers are very high.

With the name of satellite rights, dubbing rights and digital rights, the producers have already recovered some of the budget they invested. Even the dubbing rights of Telugu movies are making massive numbers. Ram Charan's 'Rangasthalam' Hindi rights deal was locked for Rs. 22 crores whereas NTR's 'Aravinda Sametha' Hindi rights deal valued 18 crores. Now, the Hindi rights of Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi' reportedly made Rs. 20 crores. Another vital update about the digital rights of 'Maharshi' is doing rounds on the internet. If the buzz is to be believed, then the Amazon Prime streaming company bought the digital release rights of 'Maharshi' for Rs. 12 crores.

On the other hand, Charan's blockbuster 'Rangasthalam' digital rights were sold for Rs. 10 crores. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in 'Maharshi' movie bankrolled by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP. The film is slated for April 5th release in 2019.
