Nampally 6th Magistrate Court on Monday issued summons to Mahesh Babu, Koratala Siva and Producer Yerneni Naveen seeking their presence in the court on March 3rd, 2017. The issue is regarding the story of Blockbuster flick 'Srimanthudu'.
Writer Sarath Chandra moved the court accusing Team Srimanthudu for not giving him due credit despite making the feature film based on his novel 'Chachentha Prema'. However, Koratala Siva condemns the allegations and ready to settle the issue in the court.
'Srimanthudu' is based on the concept of adoption-of-villages. People assume this film was inspired from PM's Adarsh Gram Yojana. But, Koratala Siva claims he penned the script much before Narendra Modi launched the adoption of villages programme.
For Mahesh Babu, 'Srimanthudu' has been his career-best grosser. Taking inspiration from this movie, Prince has adopted a village each in AP and Telangana.
