The Sankranti clash between Mahesh Babu's 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' has been the hot topic of Tollywood since the last few months. Everyone started speculating about the competition which made it even worse.
'Sarileru Neekevvaru' said that their film will be releasing grandly on 11th January. But 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' suddenly changed their release date from 12th to 10th. This heated things up between both the teams which was later settled down by industry bigwigs. Now, the movies are releasing as per planned earlier and superstar Mahesh opened up about this much-hyped clash in his recent interview.
He said that the issue was more about revenue sharing rather than locking horns with each other. He added, "If two big films are released on the same day, itâs not good for either one. A big, solo release will gather numbers so that the financial backers can get back their investment." His 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' opened to positive talk today and is running with packed crowds.
