Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' got a universally positive response right from the premier shows itself. The mass treat from Pawan and Rana impressed the audience heavily.

Though it was a remake of the Malayalam super hit film 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum', Trivikram changed the script heavily to suit the Telugu nativity and Pawan's mass hero image.

The changes worked out well and young director Sagar K Chandra's work was appreciated too. Thaman's background scores stood as the backbone for the film while narration was quite engaging without any dragging scenes.

The film opened to packed houses on Day1 all over. It created records in the Nizam area on the first day by minting a huge sum of over 11.5 crores share.

It is still going strong and sources say that it entered the profit zone already. The situation is the same in overseas market too as it collected over 2.2 millions by the end of Tuesday. It crossed the safe zone already and the collections in other states is great too.

But the situation is turning from bad to worse in Andhra Pradesh which is considered as Pawan's stronghold. Sources claim that the buyers may nearly lose thirty percent of the money and 'Bheemla Nayak' may end up as a loss venture.

Fans of Pawan Kalyan are blaming the government of Andhra Pradesh for targeting their hero and shutting down theatres along with drastically dropping the ticket prices. Others are stating that it is not just the government and the makers should also be blamed to a certain extent.

Pawan was seen as police officer Bheemla Nayak while Rana plays the role of Daniel Shekar who is the second lead. Nithya Menen was seen as the wife of Pawan while Samyuktha Menon played the role of Rana's heroine.

Produced by Sithara Entertainments, Trivikram penned the dialogues and made changes in the script of 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' to suit the taste of the Telugu audience. Saagar K Chandra directed this film while Navin Nooli is the editor.

Barring Pawan Kalyan, the rest of the team members are promoting the film. 'Bheemla Nayak' is a story that revolves around the fight between pride and self-esteem. Rao Ramesh, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma and other top character artists played crucial roles in this film.
