In a shocking incident, a fitness trainer gained the trust of an actress that he will marry her. On the same pretext, he reportedly raped her. The victim is a bidding actress and has acted in a few Telugu films already.
The victim and accused met each other through common friends and enjoy a good friendship. After their friendship grew further, the fitness trainer reportedly promised the victim that he would marry her. On the same pretext, he reportedly raped her a few times. The victim approached the cops.
Based on the victim, the Mumbai Police arrested the accused and further investigation is on. The accused not making any noise about marriage made the victim suspicious. When she asked the accused about the marriage, the victim started getting angry.
Not just getting angry, the accused also started assaulting her and beating her. Unable to deal with this, the actress visited the police station. The FIR in connection with the case which was filed with the NM Joshi Marg police station initially was shifted to the Cuffe Parade police station on the grounds of the jurisdiction of the case.
