Manchu Vishnu, the actor from the star family, is doing well in his career with back to back films. He is also a part of the movie Gayathri that has his father Mohan Babu playing a lead role. Anyone in the film industry tells that Dhee is the most significant hit in the career of Vishnu because it is one movie that has made everyone love Vishnu. But, the actor said that Dhee was not his favourite movie and surprised everyone with a reason behind the same.
Speaking at the audio launch of the film Gayathri, Vishnu Manchu told that Dhee was not his favourite movie, "Many people tell me that I did well in Dhee and thought that it was my favourite movie which is not true. If I tell this, everyone in my family will get angry with me, but I like Anukshanam more than Dhee. It was RGV who filled confidence in me with the role in Anukshanam when I am feeling low about my acting. Many thanks to RGV for making me believe that I can give my best." said Vishnu.
Talking about Gayathri, Vishnu revealed a couple of interesting aspects of the film. "When Diamond Ratna Babu and Madan narrated the story to me, I told them that I would do a role in the film, but they have another actor in mind. Every actor will have a turning point in their career with a particular rile, and I feel that the role I played in Gayathri is such." said Vishnu, adding, "Gayatri is the story of a father and daughter. This one point triggered me to do the film. I used to get amazed at Shriya's acting during my college days and finally I was happy to act with her." concluded Vishnu.
