Mani Ratnam film's PRO Nikhil Murugan has issued a press note regarding the film's cast and crew. He tweeted that "#ManiRatnam's official Announcement @thearvindswami #str #vijaysethupathy #fahadhfaasil #jothika @aishu_dil @MadrasTalkies". This untitled film is the 17th film under Madras Talkies production. Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Wami, Fahadh Fassil, Jyothika and Aishwarya are the lead actors in the film. Santosh Sivan will be handling cinematography and AR Rahman is the music composer as usual. It seems Nani missed the chance once again. The movie shoot will commence from the January 2018.
