Update: 2022-01-31 13:55 GMT
Ileana D'Cruz is a name that needs no introduction. She ruled the hearts of Telugu youth at a particular time before going away to Bollywood. She made her Tollywood debut with YVS Chowdary's 'Devadasu'. It was Ram's first film too and she bagged a good hit. Her career took a huge turn with her second film 'Pokiri'. This Mahesh Babu starrer made her an overnight sensation and there was no stopping her after that.

Within a short time, she worked with Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Tarun, Prabhas and many others. She worked with Ravi Teja for the first time in 'Khatarnak' which was a flop. After that, their second film 'Kick' was a super hit. After some failures like 'Shakti' and 'Nenu Naa Rakshashi', she stepped into Bollywood. Despite some initial success, her career did not pan out as she desired. She fell in love with Australian photographer Andrew and there was a rumor that she was all set to marry him and leave films. But she broke up with him and started looking for opportunities.

Ileana made her comeback into Tollywood with 'Amar Akbar Anthony'. This was Ileana and Ravi Teja's fourth film together after 'DCM' but it turned out to be a huge disaster. There was a lot of criticism on Ileana's look and many felt that she lost her charm and became overweight. She turned slim and started scorching up the heat on social media through her frequent bikini pictures but no filmmaker from Hindi or South are giving her opportunities.

At this point of time, sources say that Mass Maharaj decided to give a boost to her sinking career once again. Ravi Teja is working on an action entertainer named 'Ramarao On Duty' which is directed by debutant Sharath Mandava. Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan are the heroines in this film. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer and reports suggest that there is scope for a special song in this movie. Apparently, Ravi Teja recommended Ileana's name and when the makers approached her, she immediately accepted it. We need to wait for an official source to confirm this news.
