Akhil Akkineni's third movie Mr. Majnu released in the theatres on 25th January. Venky Atluri who scored a hit with Toli Prema directed the project and BVSN Prasad produced it.
The fans hoped that Akhil will finally score his first ever hit but unfortunately, the movie too failed at the box-office leaving everyone in a big disappointment. Now, the movie is giving nightmares to the distributors.
As per the updates from the trade pundits, the film witnessed a massive decline in the collections at the box-office in both the Telugu states. The first weekend seemed okay but then there is no growth in the collections after that. The film completed a run of five days and there is no improvement in the collections of the film.
The buyers are said to have already started asking the producer for compensation.
