What Meena Said About Casting Couch?

Actress Meena acted with all the Top Stars of South Indian Cinema. She, however, regrets not being able to share screen space with Arvind Swamy, who was 90s chocolate boy, due to call sheets issue after the release of 'Roja'. At the same time, The Senior Actress missed the opportunity to act opposite Tamil star Vijay even after she signed on dotted lines for many projects. Vijay did mention about it during the shoot of 'Theri' in which Meena's Daughter played his Daughter. Then, Meena joked, 'You had deliberately rejected Me as heroine for your films'. Notably, She got the opportunity to work with Vijay for a song in the movie 'Shahjahan'.  

Meena was the first choice to play the female lead in many super hits such as Vaali (Simran), Kshatriya Putrudu  (Revathi), Narasimha (Ramyakrishna).

When quizzed about Casting Couch, Meena said: 'It's very unfortunate that sexual harassment is happening in all the fields. Though I haven't faced it, Such tortures used to exist in our times as well. Men should change at least now. Such people need to keep in mind that they have wife and children. Even Women should rely only on their talent to reach greater heights'.
