Actress Meenakshi (Naanum Rowdy Dhaan fame) invited trouble by slapping an Assistant Director on the sets of her forthcoming Tamil flick 'Ner Mugam'.
After Assistant Director Shankar entered her caravan without her permission to drink water, Meenakshi lost her cool and slapped him. This incident happened during the shoot of an important sequence. All of a sudden Meenakshi who stepped out of her caravan slapped the Assistant Director in the presence of all the unit members. When some of the Unit Members asked her why she has done so, The Actress walked away without responding.
Unit Members say, Shankar isn't someone who would trouble others and what has happened is very unfortunate.
Meenakshi, however, regrets for what has happened. She has given a written apology to the Assistant Director and also assured such acts willn't be repeated.
