Megastar Fails To Do What Mahesh & NTR Did With Ease!

Megastar Chiranjeevi's much-awaited movie 'Acharya' has finally hit the screens on 29th April amidst huge expectations. Despite getting a mixed response for the film's trailer and other promotional content, fans believed in Megastar's magic and Koratala's brilliance. But their worst fear turned out to be true as the film bagged a negative talk right from the premiers itself. Barring a few combination scenes of Charan and Chiranjeevi, the film failed to impress the audience in any aspect.

The biggest complaint from every fan is the presentation of Megastar Chiranjeevi who is known for his energy onscreen. Though he managed to look slim and young in the film, his acting was quite dull and had zero energy. Previously, Chiru used to impress everyone with his acting no matter how the film turned out. His comedy timing, action in mass scenes and touching performance during emotional sequences used to make their tickets worth it. But all of them went completely missing in 'Acharya'. He looked dull, jaded and lacked energy throughout the film which gave a strange feeling to the viewers.

He showed his grace in dances and was decent in fights but his acting left a lot to be desired and many are blaming Koratala Siva for this. The star director is known for making his heroes act in a subtle manner. They are not very energetic on the screen and appear cool and composed most of the time. They even utter the most powerful dialogues in a calm way.

Superstar Mahesh Babu pulled off this acting with ease in 'Srimanthudu' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. He is one of the finest actors in Tollywood who can fit into Koratala's mold quite easily. Mahesh was never an energetic actor and he is known for his crisp and subtle acting with suited Kortala's style perfectly.

Even Tarak who is very energetic managed to look calm yet impactful in 'Janatha Garage'. Koratala might have tried to do the same with Chiranjeevi which failed badly. It would have been okay had the story been a bit strong but the routine screenplay and proceedings did not help in any way. On top of it, Chiru's subtle acting did not work and both these factors made the film low on energy and appear weak. Mega fans are not able to digest seeing Megastar in such a way. Hope 'Acharya' makes a strong comeback with his upcoming 'Godfather' and 'Bholaa Shankar'.
