Starring Adith Arun and Megha Akash in the lead roles, Dear Megha is next in line for theatrical release. The makers have announced that the film will be out in theaters on the 3rd of September. As the release date is fast approaching, the unit has started promoting the film aggressively. As a part of the promotional campaign, Megha interacted with the media today and made some interesting comments about the love drama, which happens to be the Telugu remake of Kannada super hit, Dia.
The director of Dear Megha, Sushanth Reddy tried hard to get in touch with me. He finally got hold of my contact number and spoke with me about Dear Megha. I was initially skeptical about the project as I wasn't sure about playing the central role in a female-oriented film. But with the kind of position I find myself in, I am bound to be taking risks and that is how I came on board for the project. The film is a beautiful blend of love, drama, and emotions. I am sure that the Telugu audiences will lap up this film, such is the genuinity of the story. I can relate to the female lead character in the film and I believe that many other young women out there, she said.
Megha went on to speak about her first crush, saying "While studying in the fourth standard, I had a crush on the guy who was sitting next to me in my class. He could very well be my first love. My future husband should be a good person by nature and he should let me be myself. I am sure that mine will be a love marriage," she says.
The actress says she had many plans before entering the film industry and only after commencing her acting career did she know that things don't pan out as expected in the film industry and it is advisable to go with the proceedings rather than forcing the issue. Speaking about her future projects, Megha says she is working on Gurthunda Seethakalam, a love drama starring Satya Dev and Tamannaah in the lead roles.
