The #MeToo movement has already brought out so many names of the sexual predators into the light. One such name is director Subhash Kapoor. Actress Geethika Tyagi has been raising the sexual misconduct allegations on him which is now showing a negative impact on his career.

Aamir Khan announced his exit from 'Mogul' after the sexual abuse allegations against Subhash were filed. T-Series head Bhushan Kumar too dropped the director from the project. Now, Ekta Kapoor has lent her support to the movement by kicking out Subhash who was supposed to be the showrunner of her forthcoming web series, 'The Verdict'. After Ekta Kapoor got on board as one of the committee members of the Producers' Guild which is especially to aim the sexual harassment issues at the workplace, she came to know that Subhash has an ongoing case against him. So, she immediately decided to remove him from the show.

It is reportedly a bold move by Ekta as the show is based on the Nanavati case and Subhash was integral to the system. However, she decided to support the victims and till the criminal proceedings on Subhash continue, Balaji productions is not willing to work with him.
