Mohan Babu doesn't mince his words irrespective of the controversies he faced over the years. On the day when 'Assembly Rowdy' 25th Year, He made few sensational comments on denying awards to the sensational movie.
Speaking to the media persons, Mohan Babu said: "The title 'Assembly Rowdy' was chosen as we felt it is so apt for the story. Because of the same reason, We faced many hurdles during the making and post the release. After a demand to ban the movie surfaced, Speaker Dharma Rao attended private screening and felt there is no need for any such action".
When quizzed about 'Assembly Rowdy' not bagging a single award, Collection King reacted: "Usually, We do films for earning good recognition & money. Who craves for Awards? Any how, We couldn't receive any awards as Anna Garu wasn't the CM then".
