Sri Reddy issue has rocked Telugu Film Industry for a few weeks. Tollywood has attracted the national media attention during that period. Discussions and debates went on in national media regarding casting couch issue then. Industry people were disturbed by those incidents. Several celebrities have responded to the issue on different occasions. One of the seniors in the industry Mohan Babu didn't respond to the issue till now.
Mohan Babu recently attended the trailer launch of 'Wife Of Ram' in which Manchu Lakshmi played the lead role. While speaking on the occasion he responded to Sri Reddy issue. He said that he was deeply pained by those developments. He didn't take the name of Sri Reddy directly but he spoke about the half-naked protest.. abusing Pawan Kalyan in an indirect manner.
He said that he was in America when these things happened. He said that he was depressed by the developments.. and felt bad at the situation of the industry. He said that he used to remember his guru Dasari Narayana Rao daily.. he felt the absence of Dasari in that situation. He said the situation went out of hands now. He said that industry is like a mother.. when someone is talking they should think first then only talk.
Interestingly, Mohan Babu said that he knows the social media satires on his daughter Manchu Lakshmi.. they show those trolling memes to him.
