Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been roped in to play an important role in NTR's upcoming film Janata Garrage. Mohanlal's casting has added to the hype around and expectations from the film. As per reports it is coming out that Mohan Lal hits a jackpot in terms of remuneration with the film.
The makers of the film have committed to pay 1.5 Crore plus the Malayalam dubbing rights of the film as lal's remuneration. Apparently, the producers thought that the film won't fetch more than 2 crores for Malayalam rights. But the presence of Mohan Lal and NTR'S Charishma forced the distributors to bet big on the film.
Malayalam rights of the film were sold for 4 crores and the actor has bagged a total of 5.5 crores as per the deal. As per reports the flick has fetched Rs 65 crore from the sale of its worldwide theatrical rights. The movie is being planned for August 12th release as Independence day Special.
