Mohan Raja, who is known for directing many remakes, is all set to direct the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. Starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role, the film marks the director's return to Tollywood after nearly two decades.
If the reports are believed, Ram Charan, who is producing the remake, has approached Mohan Raja to remake the film. The director is said to have given his nod for the RRR actor's offer.
Mohan Raja is known for hit films such as Jayam, M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Santosh Subramaniam and Thani Oruvan. After making three original films in a row, he is joining the hands for the much-awaited remake. The star director was recently opted out of the Tamil remake of Hindi hit Andhadhun.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, Acharya. The film is being directed by Koratala Siva.
