Update: 2020-06-12 07:23 GMT
The ongoing pandemic has resulted in an economic crisis all over the World. Bollywood Or Indian Cinema Industry on the whole is no exception for the crisis and already few producers are feeling the heat!

The latest news doing rounds in Film circles is all about the possible ways to resume shootings of the stalled films after the shutdown eases.

As per the new updates, The Maharashtra government has given the permission to the film and TV production houses that they can resume shootings but have to follow the 16-page stringent rules proposed by the government.

The directive has a set of guide lines for safe shooting or filming environment. It said all the cast and crew should maintain physical distance and sanitize themselves very often. It is the production house job to provide sanitizers and PPE kits to the needed crew who work very closely. A trained health nurse and two junior doctors should be present in the sets of the film. An Ambulance should also be kept as a precautionary measure. For three months in the coming days people aged above 60 should not be allowed on sets. Moreover the shootings should be limited to indoors and should sanitize the studio daily.

Now the producers of Hindi films are not in a position to manage all these cost burdens in the name of safety that too in a place like Mumbai which is full of Corona cases. Thus the film makers are lining up to Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City to complete their shootings.

It is said that John Abraham and Emran Hashmi started Mumbai Saaga is going to be the first film to start it's filming in Ramoji Film City after this crisis time. The crew jas already started building two sets for the film that has completed 90% of the shooting prior to lockdown and thus movie unit is adamant to finish the remaining soon and release it anyhow.

As Ramoji Film City is in the outskirts of the city there is no Corona threat and thus Mumbai Film makers are lining up with advances to Hyderabad's Film City.

Let's see when our Telugu films resume shooting!
