Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie Spyder which was scheduled to hit the theatres on September 27th is still in the filming stage. Mahesh joined the sets of Spyder immediately after the completion of Brahmotsavam, but a song in the movie is yet to be shot. It has been a long time Mahesh made a release and the fans are angry about it.

Speaking of which director MurugaDas said "The sets for the movie shooting are massive. As the film is going to be released in both Telugu and Tamil languages, we are taking extra care and making sure that the shots in Telugu differ from the Tamil version. So just like any other bilingual film, things are moving slowly. As the movie includes a lot of action and special effects, the post production requires some extra time. However, the team is working hard to reach the target without compromising regarding the quality. The only song is pending, and the rest is completed." Though they can make the Hindi version of the movie, he said that they are keen to make it as a bilingual film from the first day. He added, " Making bi-lingual films is not a joke and takes so much of effort."

Most of the shooting took place in Hyderabad. MurugaDas claimed that they had done so many changes to impress the audience of both the languages. As soon as the Spyder gets released, MurugaDas will take a 4-month break before he starts his next movie with Rajinikanth. However, the movie will only be a Tamil but not bilingual.
