Nag Talks About Those Rumours!

Update: 2019-08-08 09:21 GMT
Nagarjuna Akkineni knows that he cannot escape media and social media scrutiny on whatever he speaks. Many have been asking him how can he not give any credit to writer Trivikram Srinivas for Manmadhudu,  ever since he did not mention him at the pre-release event of Manmadhudu-2.

In a recent interview, he mentioned that Brahmanandam comedy and Trivikram's writing made the film memorable.

He wished that Vennela Kishore's comedy and Rahul Ravindran's comedy writing will make this Manmadhudu-2, a success too.

Later, he talked about rumours that he was unhappy to take Rakul Preet Singh as lady lead in the film. He said, "There were rumours that I was unhappy with Rakul as lady lead.

I saw her work in Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam and know how disciplined she is in real life with diet. I tell to many that she should be an inspiration to them in managing weight and being respectful to everyone off the screen.

Why would I have any problem with her? Rahul proposed her name for the lead role and I told him, if she accepts then we have a good actor and best fit, on board for our film."

The actor is currently looking forward to hearing feedback from his fans and general audiences for his Manmadhudu-2 releasing on 9th August.
