Nag To Act In A Hindi Film After 15 Years!

Akkineni Nagarjuna is one of the few senior Tollywood stars who acted in other languages like Hindi and Tamil and achieved good recognition.  He went on to do multiple films in Bollywood and shared screen space with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan (Khuda Gawah), Akshay Kumar(Angaaray) etc.  He went on to films like 'Criminal'.. 'Zakhm'.. 'LOC'.  

It has been 15 years since he appeared in a Hindi film.  He gave a green signal to a Hindi film 'Brahmastra' directed by  Ayan Mukherjee. The movie is bankrolled by  Karan Johar.  Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy are the other lead actors in the film.  Nagarjuna himself confirmed that he is part of 'Brahmastra' cast.  He has flown to Europe for a ten-day shoot of the film.  

Speaking about working with a young team, he said "Except for Amit ji(Amitabh Bachchan), they are all new.  I'm working with them for the first time.  I still remember Alia Bhatt as a child on the Bhatt saab's set.  Now, I'm working with her in 'Brahmastra'. How time flies."

Nag said that he was surprised to see they have offered him a role in Hindi film at this stage of his career.  He said that he is not inclined to do a Hindi film but he is open to doing films in any language if the set up is good.  When he was asked about his character in 'Brahmastra', he is that the story is impressive and he can't reveal more details about it.  He said that he doesn't clearly know the length of his character but he said that it is an important character.
