Why Nagarjuna's Hands & Legs were tied?

Playing a quadriplegic bound to wheelchair is never gonna be easy and Nagarjuna came to know about it well while working for emotional drama 'Oopiri'.

Makers have appointed an Assistant Director just to check if Nag was moving his hands and legs. There were times, a lot of retakes have been done for the same reason.

Nagarjuna asked the crew to tie his hands and legs while doing emotional scenes. That's why, He says playing such a challenging role has taken a toll on him.

'Oopiri' is a remake flick 'The Intouchables'. While the original is more of an emotional drama, We get to see a lot of humor in the Indian version. Vamsi Paidipally has made ample changes to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audience.
