Rs.1000 crore 'Mahabharat' movie has been a hot topic among the movie lovers in India for the past few weeks. Malayalam Super Star Mohan Lal is playing the crucial Bhima role in the film. Meanwhile there is an interesting update on the Karna character in the film.
Akkineni Nagarjuna is presently busy with the promotions of his latest production 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam' starring Naga Chaitanya. During the promotional interviews, Nag revealed that he has been approached for Karna character by the filmmakers. He said that he is also interested to play the Karna character. He also said that director Srikumar is working for the past four years on this script.
It is known that the movie is directed by Shrikumar Menon and it is bankrolled by Dubai based businessman B.R. Shetty. The movie is based on the popular Malayalam book 'Randhamoozham' authored by MT Vasudeva Nair.
