To celebrate the film's success Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu are on a spree of visiting the famous pilgrimages in Andhra Pradesh. The duo reached Gannavaram Airport on Tuesday night and visited the famous Kanaka Durga temple on Wednesday. They offered prayers to the goddess.
Speaking to the media after offering his prayers, Balakrishna said, Akhanda gave hope to the success that people are ready to welcome films. Going by the name Akhanda, the film got tremendous success. We are here to offer our prayers for the hit, he said.
"Akhanda gave a message that everyone should fight for protecting the Dharma and safeguarding the Hindu Dharma. In the film, we have shown that Dharma will protect us if we protect it. With the blessings of Goddess Kanaka Durga, the film became a huge success," Balakrishna told the reporters.
On the occasion, Balakrishna reacted to the tickets issue and the court's verdict on the GO on Tuesday. He said he heard about the verdict and said he is welcoming the orders. Talking about the Andhra Pradesh government's decision to challenge the verdict, Balakrishna opined that they will get relief in the case even if the issue reaches the Supreme Court.
Balakrishna had thanked the audiences and fans for the success. Sharing his happiness on this, the Gautamiputra Satakarni actor thanked one and all for watching the film along with family.
