A lot of multiplexes have been built in our Telugu states over the past couple of years. They changed the viewing experience and people are showing a lot of interest in going to multiplexes rather than single screens. Witnessing the potential in these multiplexes, a lot of distributors and actors are getting into this business.
Not just for the regular audience but the AMB Mall has become the go-to multiplex for all the celebrities too which helps in the publicity. Despite the setback due to Corona, the business is expected to be picked up rapidly once the permissions were given by the governments. As we know, Narang has produced âLove Storyâ and he has recently announced a pan-Indian project with Tamil star hero Dhanush which will be directed by Sekhar Kammula.
As we know, superstar Mahesh Babu owns 'AMB Cinemas' in Gachibowli and is built in a very lavish manner. The star hero collaborated with Asian Movies Sunil Narang for this multiplex and it is going great as per the trade circles. Sunil Narang's father Narayan Das who is one of the well-known senior producers and distributors in the Telugu film industry and the veteran said some interesting things. Explaining about the idea behind AMB Mall, he claimed, "It's completely Sunil's idea. He got the design also done. I said okay for his idea as I got convinced." He also discussed his collaboration with Mahesh Babu. He said, âThe land belongs to me. When Sunil got the idea to build the mall and I said ok, Namrata asked for 50% share in this business. Though I was not open to that partnership initially, I later agreed. She bought 50% of the land from me and it is continuing in partnership. After that Allu Arjun also joined since he too liked the project."
