Senior actor-director R Narayana Murthy popularly known as People's Star who has been demanding the repeal of the controversial Agriculture bills introduced by Centre had once again appealed to the Union Government to scrap the bills.

Speaking to the media, Minister Jagdish Reddy had urged the Centre to call off the Agriculture bills saying that these bills will not help the farmers but intensify the problems and difficulties they face.
Having said that, he credited Narayana Murthy for always making films that inspire others. Making films on farmers issues is highly appreciable, the Minister said.
