Everyone by now is aware of the ongoing rift between the Telugu Film Industry and the Andhra Pradesh government. The unsettling atmosphere is very much visible from the past few months. We have seen Tollywood biggies getting upset over AP government reducing the ticket rates, shutting down theatres and others putting up new restrictions.
In order to bring a solution to the problem, Megastar had a meeting with YS Jagan a few weeks back and he along with big names like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, Narayana Murthy and others met CM Jagan at the latter's camp office. They spoke to the Chief Minister about their problems and asked him to reconsider their requests. They were hopeful that positive news will be coming out soon.

Senior actor Naresh gave his opinion about the meet. He said, "The meeting with cm is laudable. But the need of the hour is a work shop led by FILM CHAMBER on larger interests of TFi,amicable solutions & resolutions passed OFFICIALY & democratically reflecting the unity of TFI & earning da respect of da govt & people. Hopefully soon." We need to wait and see how the others respond to his comments.
