Natti Kumar Responds On Disha Encounter Movie

Rape victim Disha's father has moved the Telangana High Court to ban Ram Gopal Varma's film which is being made on Disha's incident. The petitioner contended that it was inappropriate to make such a film while a special committee under the supervision of the Supreme Court was investigating the incident.

The High Court directed the Center and the Censor Boards to resolve the petitioner's request. Filmmaker Natti Kumar has now responded in this context.

He said that the movie team will follow the Censor Board's instructions and will remove objectionable scenes. "We will abide by the judgment given by the Court. The film was not made to upset Disha's parents and we only wanted to show the incident of rape that took place in society. The Censor Board has not yet given us any certificate. The truth is shown fearlessly in this film and the movie run time is one hour and 50 minutes," said the producer.
