Nayanthara On Why She Doesn't Attend Film Events!

Update: 2022-12-22 11:10 GMT
Proving the opinion that actresses cannot have a long career in the industry wrong, Nayanthara is enjoying good success. She is doing well as an actor and producer as well. The 38-year actress has been making films actively since 2003 and she already completed two glorious decades by doing films across languages.

Despite being a big name in the industry and enjoying star status as Lady Superstar, Nayanthara doesn't take part in promotions of her films. No matter how big the film she acted is, she doesn't promote her films. Even when she acted alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi in the magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, she did not attend the events.

Changing her rule Nayanthara promoted her upcoming film Connect in the best possible way by giving back-to-back interviews. In Tamil and Telugu, she gave many interviews to promote the film. Her husband Vignesh Shivan is the producer of the film and this might also be a reason behind this. But Nayanthara leading the promotions caught everyone's attention.

During the interview, Nayanthara was asked some interesting questions. From her career to the actors she had worked in Telugu and her married life. Talking about married life, Nayanthara said that nothing changes for women after marriage.

The lady Superstar was also asked why she is not taking part in film events and the answer raised many eyeballs. Nayanthara said that women are not given importance as women-centric films are not coming.

Talking about events, Nayanthara said that at events heroines are made to sit in the corner, and seeing this I have stopped attending the events. "I used to wonder why heroines were not given any importance. Even if we attend an audio function, they'll make us stand in some corner. This is the reason why I stopped attending such events," the Lady Superstar said.

Connect is a horror thriller directed by Ashwin Saravanan. Nayanthara played the lead role. After Maya, the director and heroine joined hands for Connect. Nayanthara's husband Vignesh Shivan bankrolled the film. The film hit the theatres today in Tamil and Telugu. Veteran actor Anupam Kher played a key role in the film.
