The alleged drugs case that came to light in Mumbai earlier this month took a surprising turn with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths carrying out the raids at the residence of Shah Rukh Khan and happening actress Ananya Pandey in connection with the case reportedly.
The actress was asked by the NCB officials to appear before the Mumbai NCB office at 2 PM today for questioning purposes. Summons directing the actress to present at the office were served after conducting the raids at her residence.
Leading national Newschannel Times Now had claimed that after finishing the raids at the residence of Ananya Pandey, the officials have seized the electronic devices like her laptop to get more information in the case. Now all eyes are on the NCB office as to what information will be derived by the anti-drug agency.
According to the media reports, Ananya Pandey had found herself on the radar of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after the alleged WhatsApp chat between Ananya Pandey and Aryan Khan came to the light while scanning the mobile phone of Aryan Khan, one of the accused in the case.
A special court in Mumbai had refused to grant bail to Aryan Khan in the case. Hearing a petition on Wednesday, the court said, WhatsApp chat says that Aryan Khan has a role in the case and hence he cannot be granted bail.
Aryan Khan has been trying to get bail in the case but in vain. After seeing that two lower courts have rejected his bail, he had the Bombay High Court and the Court will hear the petition on Tuesday.
