Akkineni Nagarjuna's forthcoming big project, Wild Dog has recently wrapped up the entire shooting part. Directed by debutant Ashishor Soloman, the film is based on real-life incidents. The veteran portrays the role of ACP Vijay Varma, who is an NIA officer. Produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy, the film is made on a budget of approximately Rs 25 crores.
If the reports are believed, digital streaming giant Netflix has bagged the digital rights of the film. With current circumstances, releasing the film on the big screens might be a challenge for the movie unit. Although, there is a possibility to release the film for Sankranthi, there are a bunch of projects lined up for the occasion.
Considering this, the 61-year-old actor gave nod for the digital release. It is heard that Wild Dog will have a digital release early next year. An official announcement regarding the same is expected. The film also stars Dia Mirza, Saiyami Kher, Atul Kulkarni and Ali Reza in pivotal characters.
