Prabhas' pan-Indian film 'Radhe Shyam' was supposed to hit the screens on 14th January. The makers thought of releasing the film till the very last minute but they were left with no option but to postpone it. The third wave forced the film's unit to delay the release and fans were very upset about it. They are unsure about the movie's release date as a lot of big films are arriving in summer.
The virus is not slowing down till the end of February according to experts. So, there will be no big releases in February and a lot of big films are lined up in April. Sources claim that the makers want to release 'Radhe Shyam' as soon as the Coronavirus spread comes down. Since films like 'Acharya' and others are coming in April, humongous project 'RRR' will be coming out by the end of April or in the beginning of May. So, the UV Creations team are aiming to release 'Radhe Shyam' in March as per sources.
Since there will be no big releases in March either in Tollywood or Bollywood, they found it as the right time. It all depends on whether the theatres will be closed due to the virus or get opened in March.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, this epic love drama has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead. Prabhas will be seen as a world-renowned palmist in this movie. This movie is produced under UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Arts and T-Series banners. Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor for 'Radhe Shyam'. This is Prabhas' first romantic film after 'Darling' and 'Mr. Perfect. The expectations are quite high on it. Other than this, Prabhas is working on 'Salaar' under Prasanth Neel's direction. This is a huge action film while he is also working on a mythological drama named 'Adipurush' which is directed by Om Raut. Kriti Sanon is the heroine while Saif Ali Khan is the villain in this project. He even kickstarted Nag Ashwin's high-budget time traveling project.
