#Mahesh25: New Zealand Writer Offers Rights!

Update: 2018-03-04 09:32 GMT
These days, Several big budget films have been facing Plagiarism charges the moment first look or teaser was released. Even Sankranthi release 'Agnyaathavaasi' had made headlines for all the wrong reasons. This situation has been prompting the Telugu Filmmakers to avoid criticism & legal issues by obtaining the rights.

If the reports are true by any chance, The storyline of #MaheshBabu25 to be directed by Vamsi Paidipally was inspired from an Australian TV Series which was written & directed by New Zealand national Peter Salmon. Vamsi picked up an edge of the seat crime episode and worked on it to suit the sensibilities of the Telugu audience.

Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt who are producing the landmark 25th film of Mahesh Babu decided to obtain rights rather than giving scope for criticism with freemake. That's a healthy trend other Producers and Directors should also need to adopt!

Incidentally, Vamsi's previous flick 'Oopiri' was a remake of French blockbuster 'The Intouchables'.
