An African actor, Samuel Abiola Robinson from Nigeria talked about facing racism on the sets of his Indian film, Sudani from Nigeria.

This is a Malayalam film and directed by Zakaria Mohammad. The movie is about the football player from Nigeria and Samuel acted in the movie.

He returned to Nigeria after participating in the success party of the film. He revealed the issue publicly after his failed attempts at reaching the director and team.

The 19 year old actor said that he is paid less because of him being an African and the director showed racial disparity towards him.

The production house responded that they have paid him 5 lakh Indian rupees and the actor is lying to get more money from the team.

The actor responded to the statement and released a video about the full payment he received and after, many putting pressure on him on social media, he revealed he is paid just one lakh 80 thousand rupees for his work on the film.

He revealed that he thought the whole matter of low pay is due to skin colour too. But he realised is a common problem and that he seeks help from Kerala Government and artists association to get a decent pay from the makers.
