Actor Nikhil Siddarth is currently busy shooting for his new movie shoot. The actor is playing the lead in the official remake of superhit Tamil film Kanithan that was also remade into Kannada as Athiratha. The film that is tipped to be a gripping action thriller is going to have Nikhil playing the role of a Journalist named Arjun. TN Santhosh who directed the original is directing the movie while Tagore Madhu is the producer.
The regular shoot of the movie started in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Well-known cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar cranks the camera while the film unit is yet to finalise the heroine for the project. The makers considered multiple heroines for the role but they did not finalise one. While this is happening, the actor is busy with the promotions of the film Kirrak Party too. The film is directed by Sharan Koppishetty. This movie too is the remake of a Kannada film Kirik Party.
