Ever since 'Attarintiki Daredi' became successful, star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas developed a habit of casting two heroines irrespective of the script. In 'S/o Satyamurthy', he used an actress of Nithya Menon's calibre for a very small role. In 'A Aa' too, Anupama Parameswaran only had a few scenes to showcase her potential.

It is better not to speak about the roles of Anu Emannuel and Keerthy Suresh in 'Agnyathavaasi'. Trivikram roped in two heroines for this film which doesn't even has scope for one heroine. In 'Aravinda Sametha', he casted Telugu girl Eesha Rebba as the sister of Pooja Hegde. This role served zero purpose in the film.

In the same manner, he casted Nivetha Pethuraj as the second female lead who romances Sushanth in 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. Unlike other heroines, he did not even care to show her glamorously and she was given very few scenes. Nivetha is a proven actress who did good roles in films like 'Mental Madhilo', 'Chitralahari' and 'Brochevaarevaru Ra'. Casting her in such substance less role does no help to her career. This talented actress is one of the female lead in Ram Pothineni's upcoming flick 'Red'.
