Update: 2018-07-01 05:33 GMT
During a live interaction with fans on social media, Kamal Haasan made it clear he is going to retire as an actor to be a full-time politician.

A Fan quizzed whether he regrets not working with Satyajit Ray and Shyam Benegal, The Viswaroopam Star didn't mind saying none of the two legends offered him a role in their films. He, however, claims to have known both of them well personally but it's too late to think about films as Satyajit Ray isn't alive. 'I won't be doing films in the future,' he adds.

Another Fan pointed out AIADMK and DMK holds 65 percent of vote share in Tamil Nadu. Does Kamal thinks his party and Rajini's party could managed 20-25% vote share each in next elections and form coalition government? The 63-Year-Old Actor explained Coalition can happen only after the elections and there is no need for jumping the gun. He believes, 'Just seizing the power & then having internal squabbles is no good for the people. And a wasted exercise!'.
