Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has made a very interesting comment pertaining to the heroism elevating scripts down South and the lack of the same in the Bollywood film industry.
"There are no heroism elevating stories and scripts in Bollywood as of now. The South Indian film industry is excelling at it. The audience are eager to watch heroism films on the big screens but Bollywood has very few of them," Salman said.
Adding further, Salman said "South Indian filmmakers work really hard on their films and put in all their efforts for films. This intent might be missing in Bollywood. All our commercial films are just remakes of hit South Indian films. This needs to change quickly. Bollywood should also work on heroic films."
Salman might be referring to recent blockbusters like Pushpa and RRR which are setting the Hindi box office on fire. Notably, Salman had even attended the pre-release event of RRR earlier this year and he actively promoted the film.
Salman Khan's words of praise on the South Indian film industry is giving new josh to our filmmakers and rightly so.
