Dasari Narayana Rao is a legend of Telugu Cinema. He holds the Guinness World Record by directing as many as 150 feature films. Darsakaratna penned scripts for 250-odd films and produced 53 projects in his glorious career. He even received awards for his praise-worthy performances.

No other Film Personality have as many Fans Associations (18,000) as that of Dasari. He not only made out and out commercial films but also message-oriented movies. Dasari happens to be one of the very few Top Filmmakers who made low-budget films on regular basis and that paved way for his long run.

Dasari was Born on May 4th, 1942. He breathed his last on May 30th, 2017 at the age of 75. Many of the prominent personalities in the Telugu Film Industry were introduced by this Legendary Filmmaker. He used to have control over all the Film Bodies and took initiative to resolve the issues. Film Personalities miss Dasari badly whenever there is an issue in the Industry.

A statue of Dasari Narayana Rao was unveiled Yesterday at his native place Palakollu. Mohan Babu and Murali Mohan have taken part in the activity. People had the feeling that participation of Chiranjeevi should have brought the completeness. Both Dasari and Chiru hail from the same district. They moved so closely despite having few differences at times. Chiru visited Dasari in Hospital when he was undergoing treatment. Upon knowing about the success of 'Khaidi No.150', Dasari twirled his moustache to convey he is proud of Megastar. These are the priceless moments which will be remembered forever. This is why Movie Lovers feel something went missing in the statue unveiling ceremony.
