Megastar Chiranjeevi's periodic war drama, 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' released on October 2nd amidst huge hype and expectations. The response was positive and it created records on its first day. But, this high-budget flick did not have a dream run as everyone expected and ended up with minor losses.

The film was released on a pan-Indian scale and the makers tried everything they could to get tax exemption. As films based on freedom fighters get benefits from the government, Ram Charan and team thought that they could get tax exemption for this biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy but none of the state governments considered this film under that category.

So, Ram Charan reportedly paid a hefty amount of 20 crores as GST for this film which became an extra burden on him. Wonder what effect this will have on Chiru's next film produced again by Charan?
