NOTA is the new movie of Vijay Devarakonda, releasing on 5th October. The movie is expected to take a big opening as the advances promise a bright opening.

Vijay Devarakonda's popularity and star status are under litmus test say the trade pundits. If the movie pulls up anything close to Rs. 6 crores or more on the first day with a film like NOTA- a political drama genre, that not even a star actor can guarantee huge opening at the box office.

So, if the actor pulls up such a number many say that his star status is not any fluke and he has arrived for sure.

The movie total cost is said to be Rs. 13 crores and in that Rs. 6 crores have been already recovered. In two Telugu states movie is directly being released through big distributors like UV, Geetha Arts, Dil Raju.

K.E. Gnanavelraja is a friend of all of them and he wants to share the profits among them all. For other Rs. 7 crores the team is looking for a good theatrical performance.

Another Rs. 3-5 crores have been spent on the movie it seems. So, a 10-12 crores business is expected from Theatrical release over the first weekend itself.

The movie will release in Tamil Nadu, Telugu States, Karnataka and Kerala, simultaneously and Overseas too. The satellite rights of the movie are not sold yet.
