Nothing Working For Maharshi In Week 2

Update: 2019-05-20 07:55 GMT
'Maharshi' managed to collect good revenue overall in the first week although the performance was below par in few territories. Second Week Shares would decide the end result of this biggie as there is still a long way for break-even. Unfortunately, Collections had only deteriorated further in the second weekend.

As per trade circles, 'Maharshi' failed to cover the investment in Overseas. While the distribution rights were acquired for Rs 12.5 crore, Only $1.74 million was recovered by May 19th. No way its gonna reach the $2 million-mark.

2nd Weekend USA Collections: Fri: $48k; Sat: $78k & Sun: $37k

For break-even, 'Maharshi' will have to collect at least $2.5 million. Anything less than that would make it a huge flop.

In the past 5 years, Only Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu fetched profits for Overseas Buyers. One Nenokkadine, Aagadu, Brahmotsavam, Spyder and Maharshi ended as flops in USA. Investors would keep the track record of Mahesh Babu in mind while acquiring the rights of his future projects.
