Update: 2019-01-06 07:43 GMT
Nandamuri Balakrishna always talks about his father, NTR, the legendary actor in great admiration and never let's a moment go by without talking about him.

He in an interview said, "I did not think about NTR biopic until I was at Nimmakuru for Basavatarakam hospital works. I decided on the spot to announce the biopic and had no plans until then."

He also shared that it was his tribute to his legendary father and mother. He said, "My mother had a great relationship with my father and he used to give her a huge value. I wanted to bring that to the forefront in NTR Mahanayakudu."

The first part will not have all the getups that NTR wore in his lifetime. NBK said, "I am good in Telugu but that doesn't mean I will say all the dialogues that my father said in his career. There will be highlights and some scenes even though shot had to be removed."

NBK also said that he did not imitate his father and just acted like him naturally. He said that he did not feel he had work hard to play him.

He said, "All my life, I saw my father and that made it easy to behave like him on-screen. I don't imitate him in the film and normally too, don't imitate him at all."

NTR Kathanayakudu is releasing on 9th January, 2019.  Vidya Balan is making her Telugu debut with the film.
