On the big occasion, Jr NTR was interviewed by a leading entertainment news outlet. Talking about the experience Tarak said that it is a rare experience and it cannot be bigger than this. Stressing the success RRR saw in Japan and America, NTR said that the west accepting them is a big honour altogether.

NTR added that although the team is living the dream they did not expect the film to see such a grand success and welcome and they did not expect this. He called the experience of walking the red carpet a bigger victory than being the winner.

"It can't get any better than this. The West accepting us ... America, the Mecca of filmmaking ... here we are at the Globes. What more can an actor ask for?... We are truly honoured, truly honoured," NTR said.

Recalling how audiences here danced and screamed looking at RRR, NTR Jr said that very rarely we see that and he loved the experience. Tarak thanked the west and audiences for loving and owning the magnum opus as theirs.

RRR created history by bagging the Golden Globe Awards 2022 in the Best Original Song Award category for the Naatu Naatu song. Despite facing tough competition the song emerged victorious. However, RRR lost the Best Non-English Language Film category with Argentina, 1985 from Argentina winning the award.
